Overview
Clair On-Demand Pay gives you on-demand access to a portion of your earnings as soon as you clock out of work. You can take control of when you access your earnings to either spend or save.
This article guides you through setting up Clair as well as how to access a portion of your earned wages.
Set up Clair
Set up Clair from the iOS or Android When I Work mobile apps. The setup tile is available on the Dashboard and My Hours pages.
When you sign up for Clair, Spending and Savings accounts are created with a banking institution. You’ll also receive a Mastercard Debit Card® that you can use to spend or withdraw your daily earnings.
If two workplaces you work for use Clair, you need to contact Clair directly to set up an account with Clair.
- Log in to the When I Work mobile app.
- On the Dashboard, tap the Access a portion of your earnings before payday! tile.
- Tap Get Started.
- A web browser opens on your mobile device to guide you through Clair setup.
Access your earned wages
Once the account with Clair is setup and at least one paycheck deposited, you may use the When I Work mobile app to seek an advance on your earnings. Your earnings are accessed from the Dashboard and My Hours pages, which redirects to the Clair app.
- Log in to the When I Work mobile app.
- On the dashboard, tap the Clair tile.
- Tap Open Clair App to open the Clair app.
Troubleshooting
If your account needs attention, the icon is displayed in the Clair tile.
- Log in to the When I Work mobile app.
- On the dashboard, tap the Clair tile.
- Tap Open Clair App to open Clair and check out their knowledge base or email Clair support to resolve the issue.
