Reporting Breaks on a Time Clock Terminal

Overview

You can report on your breaks upon clock out. Your manager has the option to turn off break reporting in the account’s settings.

You can also report your breaks on a computer or iOS terminal when set up.

You will only be prompted to report on paid breaks if you have worked a minimum of 3.5 hours and unpaid breaks if you have worked a minimum of 5.5 hours.

Reporting paid breaks

Paid breaks are recorded upon clock out.

  1. Near the bottom of the screen, enter your employee ID or email address.
  2. Tap .
  3. Tap Clock Out.
  4. Tap Yes or No to answer the prompt.
    • If Yes, select yes and the tap Clock Out
    • If No, tap How many weren’t taken and why? to record why the paid breaks were not taken.
    • Tap Clock Out when the required fields are entered. You are clocked out for your shift and any missed breaks are recorded on your timesheet.

Reporting unpaid breaks

Unpaid breaks are recorded upon clock out.

  1. Near the bottom of the screen, enter your employee ID or email address.
  2. Tap .
  3. Tap Clock Out.
  4. Tap Yes or No to answer the prompt.
    • If Yes, select yes and the tap Clock Out
    • If No, tap How many weren’t taken and why? to record why the paid breaks were not taken.
    • Tap Clock Out when the required fields are entered. You are clocked out for your shift and any missed breaks are recorded on your timesheet.
