    Overview When an employee reports an absence, you can view the note for the absence or find coverage for the shift. You can also process absences from your Android or iOS device. Considerations You must have supervisor, manager, or admin access privileges in order to process absences. You can respond to absences in three locations: From the dashboard under Attendance Notices From the Absence Page From the Scheduler On the Dashboard, scroll to Attendance Notices.     Absence tracking allows users to report when they cannot work an assigned shift that takes place within the next 24 hours. Management can report absences on behalf of their employees from the scheduler or the dashboard. You can also report absences for a user from an iOS device or Android device. You must have admin, manager, or supervisor level access to report an absence on behalf of another user. You must have admin, manager, or supervisor level access to report absences for past shifts.     Absence tracking allows you to report when you cannot work an assigned shift that takes place within the next 24 hours. When you report an absence, the shift is removed from your schedule and management is notified. You can also report absences from an iOS or Android device.
