Overview
Two-step verification adds a second layer of security to your account by requiring another verification method beyond your initial password. This article covers configuring two-step verification on your Android device.
You can also configure two-step verification on your computer or iOS device.
Considerations
- If you choose to use an authenticator app, When I Work recommends Authy, LastPass, or Google Authenticator.
- Two-step verification is an opt-in feature.
Change Verification Method
- From the When I Work Scheduling app, tap More in the bottom-right corner of the screen.
- Tap Profile Settings.
- Tap Enabled in the Two-Step Verification field.
- Tap Change Verification Method, then tap Continue.
- Follow the instructions to enable two-step verification in your chosen method.
Regenerate Recovery Codes
- From the When I Work Scheduling app, tap More in the bottom-right corner of the screen.
- Tap Profile Settings.
- Tap Enabled in the Two-Step Verification field.
- Tap Regenerate Codes, then tap Continue.
- Tap Copy Codes and paste them into an email to send to yourself for backup purposes. Once you have safely stored your codes, tap Done.
Disable Two-Step Verification
- From the When I Work Scheduling app, tap More in the bottom-right corner of the screen.
- Tap Profile Settings.
- Tap Enabled in the Two-Step Verification field.
- Tap Disable Two-Step Verification.
- Tap Disable.
