Configure Two-Step Verification

Overview

Two-step verification adds a second layer of security to your account by requiring another verification method beyond your initial password. This article covers configuring two-step verification on your Android device.

You can also configure two-step verification on your computer or iOS device.

Considerations

Change Verification Method

  1. From the When I Work Scheduling app, tap  More in the bottom-right corner of the screen.
  2. Tap Profile Settings.
  3. Tap Enabled in the Two-Step Verification field.
  4. Tap Change Verification Method, then tap Continue.
  5. Follow the instructions to enable two-step verification in your chosen method.

Regenerate Recovery Codes

  1. From the When I Work Scheduling app, tap  More in the bottom-right corner of the screen.
  2. Tap Profile Settings.
  3. Tap Enabled in the Two-Step Verification field.
  4. Tap Regenerate Codes, then tap Continue.
  5. Tap Copy Codes and paste them into an email to send to yourself for backup purposes. Once you have safely stored your codes, tap Done.

Disable Two-Step Verification

  1. From the When I Work Scheduling app, tap  More in the bottom-right corner of the screen.
  2. Tap Profile Settings.
  3. Tap Enabled in the Two-Step Verification field.
  4. Tap Disable Two-Step Verification.
  5. Tap Disable.
