Recording your lunch breaks

You can track your lunch breaks while you’re clocked in. These breaks are also called unpaid breaks. Check with your manager to find out if you should record your breaks in When I Work.

Starting a lunch break

You must be clocked in to start a lunch break.

From the When I Work Scheduling app, tap Take Lunch on the Dashboard.
Tap Start Lunch to confirm. If your shift has an unpaid break entered, the length of your scheduled break appears.

If you have a break entered in your scheduled shift, you will receive a reminder to end your break when there is one minute remaining.

Ending a lunch break

From the When I Work Scheduling app, tap End Lunch on the Dashboard. The length of your break will appear on the End Lunch button.
Tap End Lunch to confirm.
