Having trouble with WorkChat? Use this article to help find a solution so you can get back to communicating with your team. Your employer has the option to turn WorkChat on and off. Log into your profile via the web and click WorkChat on the toolbar to open WorkChat. A Message Staff button appears rather than a WorkChat button or the WorkChat button is missing. Solutions: If you are an admin or a manager, follow instructions on how to enable WorkChat. Try sending an email through the iOS app or Android app instead. Check out Contacting Your Employer. Reviewing Breaks on Timesheet Exports

Easily review unpaid lunch breaks and paid rest breaks in the timesheet export. After exporting timesheets, use the Breaks tab in the export to see details of your user’s breaks. Make sure the Breaks option is enabled in the account’s Attendance Settings. Checking the box for ‘Let users record unpaid breaks’ and/or ‘Ask users about paid rest breaks’ adds the Breaks tab to the timesheet exports. Automatically deducted and manually entered breaks do not appear on the breaks tab. To review breaks, export timesheets then click the Breaks tab at the bottom of the export. If you have questions regarding your schedule or timesheets, you can message your employer using When I Work. Use WorkChat or send an email through the mobile app to simplify communication with your managers and supervisors. Overtime Visibility

The overtime visibility feature displays the overtime impact when scheduling. Your account’s overtime thresholds are used to calculate a user’s potential overtime when assigning a shift. Don’t see this feature? If you don’t see Overtime Visibility information, check your Account & Billing page to see if your account has Overtime Visibility enabled. Overtime visibility is currently available on all platforms. On iOS and Android, overtime badges are shown when creating shifts, offering OpenShifts and approving shift requests. If you have a new email address, updating your email address in your profile ensures that email notifications and other messages are sent to the correct email address. You can also update your email address from your iOS device or Android device. Supervisors, managers, and admins cannot update a registered user’s email address. For security reasons, only the registered user can update their email address. If you’re part of multiple workplaces, updates to your email address take effect for all workplaces.
